Immediately Katz recognized the pattern of recruitment and radicalization used by jihadist militants and the danger it posed, but law enforcement and policy makers barely paid attention and in some cases minimized or gave comfort to these groups. In Saints and Soldiers Katz shows us how the internet incites and weaponizes individuals to carry out horrific attacks. More importantly, she details how we can stop the spread of this hate, but we must pay attention. When hate crimes against Jews are at their highest level ever recorded, we must all do something.
